Novel Oral Anesthetic
The first orally available general anesthetic. This compound is effective alone or in combination with other anesthetic agents and decreases the amount of gas anesthetic required with minimal cardiovascular effects. This compound has military field applications and has anti-convulsant activity at low dosage. It is demonstrated to be effective in small animals.
