Riverside Center is a growing biomedical park situated south of downtown Roanoke, adjacent to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Riverside is home to the Carilion Clinic outpatient facility which is designed to exemplify Carilion Clinic’s model of patient-centered care; convenient access to physician specialists and ancillary services will ensure that patients receive the highest quality care in an efficient manner.
Riverside is also home to the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTC) and the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute. Set to open in the fall of 2010, VTC is an exciting new medical school with a research curriculum at its core. The Research Institute will help Carilion Clinic to become a research-empowered provider of health care services.
